For this week edition of Peter’s Indy Ski Edits I decided to post an edit of myself, since my birthday was last week I deserve to be a bit vain and narcissistic. So please enjoy and edit of myself which I enjoy.
For this week’s edition (week #2) of Peter’s Indy ski edits I have chosen an edit from my home mountain of Brighton, Utah featuring all around good guy/skieur Ian Wade. Enjoy.
I recently got promoted, great news huh? Yes, and no. It has its perks for sure, better pay and I get to hang out with some of skiings best “athletes.” At Snogression (that’s where I work if you didn’t catch that) we sponsor some awesome individuals, people like Pep Fujas, Wiley Miller, Ahmet Dadali, LJ Strenio, and many more. Now as TM I get to work with these cool cats a lot. Super Sick I know. However as I said before It has it’s downfalls. One of those being the insane amount of “sponsor me” emails I get on the daily, along with that of course comes the “sponsor me edits.” I’m to the point now where I can’t stand watching ski edits. They all are so unoriginal and boring. A little advice to you young rippers out there I could care less how many switch ups you can do, be creative! Like I said they are getting boring and they make me want to quit skiing. So I decided that in order to get me stoked on skiing I would watch at least one good edit a week and being the “Indy/counter culture” skier I am, (I mean I do wear tight pants and all black) I thought I would post one creative, indy ski edit a week. So for week one we have less of an edit more of a movie. This movie is from one of my favorite dudes and skiers, Joel Whalen. He too got burnt out on skiing and actually hasn’t skied in a few years which makes his movie even better. We miss you big guy and hopefully you can get stoked on skiing again in the future. Anyway enjoy.
ps. I wouldn’t have to do this if you weren’t blowing it lately Dunfee. Come on brobomb get back to your more indy roots.
My current lock screen, just thought you would like to know. #mada #lemur #snow
The racks are on, it’s that time of the year. #snow #winter #snogression #factionskis @factionskis (Taken with Instagram)
Reminiscing on snowier days.
I believe this movie articulated very well, the way I feel about skiing with one rather large over sight. Skiing is fun and a passion, but skiing isn’t everything. Life is about family, friends, and relationships. How would skiing be with out your family and friends? The best day of skiing in my mind is not alone, but rather with my Dad who taught me how to ski, or my friends who love me as an individual.
Newest Adventure Pack edit, fresh off the chopping block, enjoy!
Droppin a teaser
So for christmas all my father wanted was a print of me skiing. So I bought a pass for my friend Mike Larsen. (http://www.bigginsphoto.com/) This is one of the shots from that day we didn’t end up using but either way I’m stoked on it! New Knee, New Year, Yay!
